Lead Guitar Player and Vocals
There are Guitar players, and then there's Bill Davis, perhaps the Twin Cities best guitarist and certainly one of our major talents. Since his first steady gig (at age 13) Bill has played with some of the Midwest's finest and most celebrated bands, not only locally but nationally and internationally as well. He started out with "The Hot Half Dozen" followed by "Bad Omens" and including The Underbeats , XL5, and of course The Fabulous Del Counts (3 tours of duty). Lest we forget, Bill has also been lead guitarist for the legendary Minnesota rockers "Gypsy" for more than 25 years, not to mention 11 years as lead guitarist and vocalist with Transit Authority, the ONLY band reconized by "Chicago" as their official Tribute-Band. Bill has worked with Head East, Poco and ZZ top, Burton Cummings and the late Roy Buchannon just to name a few major talents. Bill is also a widely respected session guitarist, arranger/producer and writer. He is a member of The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame (3 times!). You could try to find a better guitarist, but it would take you a long, long time. Our friend Bill Davis is simply the Best.
Introducing The Del Counts
Mr. Jerry Archambault is quite simply one of the top drummers in Minnesota. If you want a truly steady drummer, then you go to Jerry. We are very fortunate to have him keeping us all as tight as bark on a tree up on that stage. Jerry first played the drums at the age of 5(yep, five) after watching his father play and soon he was hooked. His first real "gig" was with his dad's variety band when Jerry was just 12 years old. How cool is that? He's been playing steady ever since. Jerry's credits include 7 years as drummer for The Killer Hayseeds, 10 years with The Austin Healey Band and several years as drummer for Minnesota legends "Gypsy". He has also worked with Country Music star Rocky Lynne. In fact they performed in Washington D.C. at the Lincoln Memorial as a part of the "Rolling Thunder" Rally on Memorial Day 2013! Jerry is involved in several Veterans causes and holds a special place in his heart for the men and women who have served their country in uniform. Like the riders of the "Rolling Thunder" rallies, Jerry believes that all of us should be united in the cause of bringing a full accounting of all of our POWs and MIAs from all of our wars. He's a special guy. The "Fabulous" Del Counts are proud to have Jerry Archambault as a member of our band.

C harles Schoen is (as many say) quite simply one of the best R&B singers in the Twin Cities, and he has been - ever since his band mates snuck him into his first actual 'gig' playing the drums for his new "Del Counts" band at the Marigold Ballroom, in 1961. "I was either 15 or 16 years old, too young to go in through the front door" says Charles. Charlie Schoen and The "Fabulous" Del Counts have been performing in and around the Twin Cities ever since. In fact, The "Fabulous" Del Counts recently celebrated their 55th anniversary at The Medina Ballroom. No other local band can make such a claim. From the Blues of Howlin' Wolf to the great hit songs of The Young Rascals, The Temptations and the Four Tops and many of the best R&R songs of the 50's-70's and more, Charles sings and plays them all with equal professionalism and pride in his role as the Elder-Statesman of both The "Fabulous" Del Counts, and in the Minnesota music scene. Charles Schoen and The "Fabulous" Del Counts were inducted into the MN Rock & Roll Hall
The "Fabulous" Del Counts were inducted into the MN Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006..

Bobby Jones began playing music professionally for Twin Cities audiences at the tender age of 15. Originally from N.E. Minneapolis, he was soon recognized as a major talent and was playing in several now quite famous Bands, and he has been inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame at least 5 times in his career, 2 of those bands, including The Hot Half Dozen and the legendary Gold Record award winning band Gypsy. Among the other bands Bobby has played with over the years are The "Fabulous" Del Counts(3 tours), Spark, The Accents and Jumpstreet. He has played in countless shows with national acts as well including The Commodores, REO Speedwagon, Leslie West, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, Tracy Austin, Triumph, Styx, and last but surely not least, The Vanilla Fudge. Bobby Jones is recognized as perhaps the steadiest Bassist in the Midwest, and far beyond. His always positive outlook and witty stage presence have made a truly positive influence on all those who know and love Bobby Jones. A 2-time inductee into the MN Music Hall Of Fame, The "Fabulous" Del Counts are privileged to have him performing with us!

James "Owl" Walsh There isn’t much left to say that has not already been said about one of the newest members of The Fabulous Del Counts family. Since the day James first performed with "The Coronado’s" as a young teenager in the early 1960’s, those of us who have seen him play the keyboards and heard his smooth, soaring vocals have been witness to one of the finest performing musicians ever to grace the stages in the Twin Cities area, and far beyond. No other musician in Minnesota music history can claim Six individual Minnesota Music Hall of Fame awards. From The Hot Half Dozen to The Underbeats and Gypsy, to Free and Easy, and from The Accents to Jump Street and 8 years with The Killer Hayseeds James Walsh has certainly earned the accolades and the respect of his fellow Minnesota musicians. And if all that isn’t enough, James is the recipient of two 'Platinum' recording awards, one for his production work with Sheryl Crow and the other for his work with then “Kid” Johnny Lang. And now, he is a member of “The Fabulous Del Counts”...!On Keyboards and Vocals...
